I Had day Surgery under Mr Pace and team Oct 18 at Bridlington. Hospital appeared clean ward staff were lovely and theatre staff very good. They were all very helpful. Beats Scarborough hands down!

I visited this hospital in 2003,after waiting to be seen I explained that I had come for my weeks holiday but had left my insulin at home in Selby. I asked if I could have some insulin to help me untill i could go back to Selby. I was told that they couldn't help me and they said that I should drive home to Selby for my insulin, I needed my insulin before I could drive, very poor hospital,I have given 1 star thats only because I couldn't give a zero.

An absolutely 1st class team work on this ward.I have recently had a hip replacement carried out by Mr Marsh and his team. The whole experience was carried with care and consideration not just by the theatre team but with the after-care staff as well.Last year a replacement knee operation was again carried out and the same kindness and professionalism was shown by Kent Ward staff and Mr Marsh's teamMany thanks to all who work there.Roger Lord

I was in on the 25th August 2017 for a shoulder operation,, when I arrived I was taking to my private room on Kent ward by the male nurse who was very polite. After settling in I was seen by a very polite female nurse. My room was clean . I then had the doctor who was doing my operation visit me to tell me exactly what I was getting done, and tell me when I was going down @ 9.15am , and on the button I was taking down. All I can remember was laying on the table getting oxygen and then the nurse asking how I feel, and keeping me warm . Then I was taking back to my room to recover . I can't fault them there where always checking in on me. I pressed the help button and I never had 1 I had 3 nurses checking on me. And yet the government wants to cut them from hospitals . Why they are doing a good job to look after us with our short stay in hospital.

Since moving to Bridlington ten years ago I have tried several different Dentists and for one reason or another was never happy with any of them, then one day talking to a lady on the bus about Dentists she recommended the Hospital Dentist saying how careing and lovely the staff and the Dentist herself were. I fully and truthfully agree being a very nervous patient I was put at ease from my very first visit trusting in their very capable hands, thanks to all concerned
