Great place to visit especially with young children. The hall itself is full of amazing historical items really interesting. Gardens are huge plenty of space for picnics and the kids to play. They serve a good range of food we opted for the afternoon teas - delicious. There is also a small zoo which includes penquins always a favourite. A play area with climbing frames slides and swings. How better to get there from Bridlington but the miniature train. The train also stops at the model village on the way also worth a visit. Definitely a good family day out and not too expensive.

Beautiful gem of a place, unspoilt by time. Great family activities throughout the year and a the recently renovated hall is excellent. Friendly, helpful staff.

Lovely gardens. We visited the zoo and the park. Not sure the zoo was worth the admission as it was tiny. But we enjoyed the quick visit all the same. We did not visit the house.

Absolutely beautiful walk. Especially so as the sun was shining. Lovely walk to Bridlington. Flat walk along the beach footpath that is completely tarmaced full length. It also has numerous benches all along the walk where you can sit and rest, admire the seaview and listen to the waves lapping the shore. Also look around the Sewerby House grounds. Free parking through the Winter.

We had a great time here. We went into the museum which is a very large old house with lots of interesting rooms to look at .there is also a small zoo.and the grounds are fast with a walled garden pitch and putt and a very nice cafe.
