Had a meal here on New Year's Eve. Out was extremely busy as you'd imagine but the service was great and the waitresses worked their socks off. My prawn and avocado asked was fresh and plentiful. My husband said the game terrine was tasty and he got loads. I had steak, which was really good, husband went for chicken, he said it was ok, but mainly because he tried my steak and wanted to swap. The puddings were sticky toffee and lovely. I was most impressed however that an elderly man, on his own but clearly a regular customer was treated. He also had a meal, but the staff were popping over to ask if he was ok, had he enjoyed it etc and when he wanted to go,. They were so lovely and mindful of his lack of mobility. I really liked the kindness and attention they gave to him
Welcoming pub, by the old priory, in the historic part of Bridlington. It offers a good range of home cooked meals with a friendly service. From here there is easy access to a beautifully preserved historic high street tucked away from the tawdry seaside resort.
Sunday lunch for 4. Nice clean welcoming pub. Very helpful and polite smiling staff despite being busy. Food including vegetarian option well cooked and very tasty. Reasonably priced. Will definately go back.
